Our GB Legal team is a friendly, collaborative and hard-working team.. We work closely with People & Culture and senior stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters.
What to expect
In this role, you will work closely with the Associate Director, Legal – Employment and key stakeholders across the business.
Advising on day-to-day employment law and employee relations issues, including flexible working requests and data subject access requests.
Supporting complex disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and restructuring activity
Managing and supporting all elements of employment tribunal claims, working with external Counsel
Drafting and reviewing HR policies, contracts and settlement agreements
Supporting Code of Conduct matters and internal investigations
Supporting on projects and legislation change – including changes relating to the Employment Rights Act 2025.
Skills & Essentials
Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 1–3 years’ PQE in employment law
Strong grounding in employment law – including collective consultation and TUPE.
Employment Tribunal experience
Experience working with HR / Employee Relations stakeholders
Excellent communication and drafting skills
Ability to build relationships, provide pragmatic advice, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
Desirable:
Experience in labour relations / unionised environment, including European Works Councils.
Experience with international companies (particularly in Europe) and cross-border work.
