Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: London

Salary: £45-50,000

A highly regarded architectural practice in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically accomplished professional with a strong background in delivering complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality technical delivery while coordinating consultants, liaising with clients, and overseeing project programmes. Alongside project leadership, you will mentor junior team members, contribute to business development initiatives, and play an important role in the continued success and growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architectural projects through all RIBA work stages, from concept to completion.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Produce, review, and manage technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Deliver projects under both traditional and design and build procurement routes.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.
Support business development by identifying new opportunities and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Ensure projects comply with current legislation, building regulations, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
Assist with project programming, resource planning, and contract administration where required.

Requirements:

Significant post-qualification experience within an architectural practice, with a proven track record of leading projects.
Advanced proficiency in Revit.
Excellent technical knowledge of construction detailing, building regulations, and technical documentation.
Demonstrable experience delivering projects through both traditional and design and build procurement methods.
Strong communication and client relationship management skills, combined with commercial awareness.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams, delegate effectively, and drive project delivery.
Collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Experience across all RIBA work stages, including traditional contract administration, is advantageous.
