CJ74142 – Care Assistant – Southbourne. West Sussex

We are currently looking for full time permanent Care Assistants to join one of my clients well established care homes in Southbourne.

This Care Home in Newport is a 30-bed luxury Elderly and Dementia residential home that has a ‘Good’ rated CQC in all areas.

We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, and compassionate Care Assistants, who would be open to progression and joining are family within the Care Home.

Details/Requirements for Care Assistant Role

* Full Time – 24/36/42/48 hours contacted per week

* Pay rate for Care Assistant role : £12.85ph - £13.85ph

* NVQ 2 or above in Health and Social Care (Not essential for Care Assistant role)

* 12-hour shifts (7am – 7pm)

* Alternate weekends

* 30 bedded Care Home

* Previous experience working as a Care Assistant in a Care Home

Duties for Care Assistant Role:

* Motivating residents to get the most out of their day

* Personal care

* Administering medication

* Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

* Taking part in daytime activities with the residents
