Not every children's home is the same.

We're proud to be working with a small, values-led children's residential provider in Nottingham.

This isn't a large corporate organisation where you're just another employee. Here, every member of the team is valued, supported and encouraged to build genuine, meaningful relationships with the children they care for. The provider firmly believes that if they look after their staff, their staff can provide the very best care to the young people they support.

If you're compassionate, resilient and genuinely passionate about helping children achieve positive outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children who have experienced significant trauma and adversity.

No two days are the same. You'll be supporting young people to develop life skills, build confidence, regulate emotions and experience the stability they deserve.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.

* Supporting children with their emotional, behavioural and social development.

* Promoting education, independence and positive outcomes.

* Planning and taking part in activities within the home and community.

* Maintaining accurate records and reports.

* Working closely with families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes.

* Creating a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people with empathy, patience and resilience above all else.Ideally you'll have:

* Experience working with children or young people

* A caring, positive and child-centred approach.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* The ability to remain calm under pressure.

* A full UK driving licence (desirable).

Whether you're already qualified or looking to develop your career in children's residential care, this provider is committed to supporting your professional development.

Salary & Benefits

* £13.50 per hour (Unqualified)

* £14.00 per hour (Qualified)

* £70 per sleep-in

* 2 on, 4 off shift pattern, offering an excellent work-life balance.

* Ongoing training and career development.

* Supportive and approachable management team.

* Opportunities to progress within a growing organisation.

* A genuinely caring culture where staff wellbeing is valued just as highly as the young people they support.

Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're looking for more than just a job and want to work for a provider that truly puts both its children and its staff first, we'd love to hear from you.
