Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people?
We are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker or Senior Residential Support Worker to join a therapeutic children's home focused on providing stability, safety and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Support children and young people with daily routines, education and independence
• Build positive and trusting relationships
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Safeguard and advocate for young people
• Complete daily records and care documentation
• Work alongside families and professionals
• Lead shifts and support colleagues (Senior Support Worker)
Requirements
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Previous experience within a children's residential setting
• Understanding of safeguarding and childcare legislation
• Positive, resilient and child focused approach
• Full UK driving licence desirable
