We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Crawley, West Sussex. This opportunity is ideally suited for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician specialising in German brands, looking to advance their career within a reputable independent workshop.
Our client offers a professional working environment with excellent remuneration, comprehensive training, and career development prospects. The role is designed for a proactive and dedicated Vehicle Technician committed to delivering high-quality service and workmanship.
Benefits of the Vehicle Technician role:
Competitive salary package ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and skills
Monday to Friday working hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend work
Generous holiday entitlement of 24 days plus bank holidays

Ongoing training, including Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid courses via IMI
Opportunity to train as an MOT tester, with training provided
Supportive, friendly workshop environment
Staff discounts and regular social events such as team outings and celebrationsDuties for the Vehicle Technician:
Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a diverse range of German brand vehicles, including high-performance models
Lead in advanced diagnostics using equipment such as Autologic, ISTA, and Hunter wheel aligners
Work on both modern and classic German vehicles, maintaining high standards of quality
Conduct MOT tests (training provided if necessary)
Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the workshop’s reputation for reliability and qualityIndividual requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
Significant experience working as a Vehicle Technician specialising in German brands at a senior level
Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering
Proven diagnostic expertise with modern electronic systems and OEM diagnostic tools
Experience working with high-end and performance vehicles is highly desirable
MOT testing qualification (training can be provided if needed)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in every aspect of job performance
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
