Health and Safety Manager – Manufacturing – Aldringham, Suffolk – £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits Package

Principal People are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to join a fast-growing operational business and take ownership of health and safety across a busy production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to develop, implement and continuously improve the company's health and safety management systems. This is a highly visible role where you'll have the autonomy to influence safety culture, ensure legal compliance and make a genuine impact across the organisation.

The key duties include:

Leading and developing the company's health and safety policies and procedures across manufacturing and office environments.
Conducting and reviewing risk assessments to ensure hazards are effectively identified and controlled.
Maintaining a visible presence across site, supporting operational teams and promoting safe working practices.
Working closely with site managers and engineering teams to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Driving a positive and proactive health and safety culture throughout the business.
Monitoring health and safety performance and producing reports for senior leadership.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing practical safety solutions.
Supporting operational teams to balance compliance with efficient day-to-day operations.
