Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional who enjoys being out on the factory floor rather than sat behind a desk?
We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site's Health & Safety function, work closely with senior leadership and help drive a positive safety culture across the business.
This isn't just a compliance role. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, challenge where needed, and help make Health & Safety part of everyday working life.
The Role
Lead all Health & Safety activities across the manufacturing site.
Ensure the business remains compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
Carry out risk assessments and site inspections.
Investigate accidents and near misses.
Complete internal audits and ensure actions are followed through.
Review and improve Health & Safety procedures.
Deliver Health & Safety training and support employee development.
Work closely with managers across all departments.
Manage and support a Training Coordinator.
Promote a strong Health & Safety culture throughout the business.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager role.
Manufacturing experience is essential.
Food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Confident communicating with people at all levels.
A proactive, hands-on approach.
Someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement rather than simply maintaining standards.
What's on Offer
£45,000 - £50,000 salary.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
Permanent, full-time position.
