Vehicle Technician Opportunity at Leading Leicester Dealership
Our client, a reputable automotive dealership group in Leicester, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade Vehicle Technicians to secure a rewarding role within a well-established company that values professional development and offers the potential for long-term career progression.
This position is ideal for technicians seeking to work in a modern environment with the latest tools and technology, along with a competitive salary package and sustainable bonus structure. The role involves providing high-quality servicing and repairs, diagnosing vehicle faults, and delivering exceptional customer service in line with manufacturer standards.
Benefits:
Basic salary of £37,284, with an OTE of approximately £45,240 dependent on performance
Uncapped bonus scheme based on productivity and team results
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional leave based on service

Manufacturer-led training, including EV and hybrid vehicle qualifications

Work in a modern workshop equipped with up-to-date tools and diagnostic equipmentDuties:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults and determine necessary repairs
Complete all workshop documentation accurately and efficiently
Support warranty and electronic Vehicle Health Check (eVHC) processes
Accurately complete job cards and digital workshop reports
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship
Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet productivity targets
Support the delivery of excellent customer service through technical expertiseRequirements:
NVQ/IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Proven experience as a Service Technician or Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent garage
Confidence in using diagnostic equipment
MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Positive attitude with a professional approach
Strong diagnostic, repair, and servicing capabilities
