We are seeking a Project Manager, to lead the end-to-end lift-and-shift migration of a multi-system SAP landscape to RISE with SAP, maintaining current release levels throughout (non-RISE to RISE).

The role carries full accountability for governance, planning, SAP ECS co-ordination, customer stakeholder management, and controlled go-live across two migration groups totalling eight SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance and planning
• Establish and chair programme governance: steerco, design authority, operational readiness board, and change control
• Own the integrated programme plan across both groups, mapping cross-system and portfolio dependencies
• Maintain RAID log and lead risk/issue resolution; enforce readiness gate sign-off at each critical phase
• Define and agree RACI across customer, SAP ECS, and any SI/AMS partners
• SAP ECS management alongside CDM and TSM
• Act as primary programme-level interface to SAP Enterprise Cloud Services for provisioning, onboarding, networking, monitoring, backup/DR, patching, SLA/OLA alignment, and emergency procedures
• Drive clarity on responsibility boundaries between RISE/ECS-managed services and customer/partner-retained activities
• Align ECS delivery timelines to programme gates and cutover windows
• Customer stakeholder management
• Manage IT leadership, business owners and compliance/audit stakeholders
• Deliver concise, regular executive reporting on progress, risk posture, and readiness status
• Manage messaging and outage communications; resolve escalations promptly
• Technical migration co-ordination working alongside the SAP Technical Architect
• Testing and cutover support
• Own the cutover runbook, downtime plan, rollback criteria, and go-live decision gate

Required Experience

• Complex SAP landscape migrations delivered end-to-end in SAP private cloud
• Demonstrable RISE with SAP or SAP ECS engagement experience; ability to navigate SAP internal teams and escalation paths
• Proven delivery of multi-system, phased lift-and-shift programmes with controlled cutover windows and formal ops handover
• Strong multi-party programme/project governance: steerco management, RACI enforcement, change control, and audit evidence production
• Working within pharma which is a controlled environment ie GxP compliant would be beneficial but not a must.
