Pastoral Support Officer - Full Time (5 Days per Week)
Location: Lambeth
Are you an experienced and compassionate pastoral professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lambeth on a full-time basis (5 days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a caring school community that values staff development and offers excellent opportunities for career progression.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a pastoral support role within a school setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and student wellbeing.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach.
A degree is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral support to students, promoting their wellbeing, attendance, and engagement.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies.
Support behaviour management strategies and help create a positive learning environment.
Work closely with teaching staff and the safeguarding team to ensure students receive appropriate support.
Monitor student progress and contribute to intervention plans.
