We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Science Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Lambeth on a full-time basis. Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or similar setting.
Strong scientific knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
A relevant degree (preferred).
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, set up and clear away equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are stocked and organised.
Support teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments.
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
Assist with the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.
