Location: South Shields

Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to step into a leadership role?

We're recruiting a Team Leader for a well-established provider of therapeutic residential care in South Shields. This role is based within a 4-bed home supporting established children, and due to continued growth and expansion, the organisation is looking to strengthen its leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, safe care

Act as a role model, promoting best practice and consistency

Build positive, trusting relationships with young people

Support care planning, risk assessments, and day-to-day operations

Work collaboratively with families and external professionals

Deliver a trauma-informed, person-centred approach

About You

Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (essential)

Experience in children's residential care

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Compassionate, resilient, and proactive

Committed to safeguarding and positive outcomes
