This is an amazing opportunity for a confident and capable payroll professional to join a multi-site organisation from their Carmarthenshire Head Office...... perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, structure and control, and who enjoys being the expert responsible for delivering a seamless, compliant and efficient payroll operation. You'll work closely with Finance, HR and operational leaders, but you will personally manage the end‑to‑end payroll process (rather than line‑managing staff). What you'll be responsible for

Liaising directly with pension providers to ensure correct deductions and timely submissions.
Reviewing and improving payroll procedures, controls and systems
Supporting internal and external audits with accurate, timely payroll data.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating across Finance, HR and Operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. What we're looking for
Strong experience in Sage Payroll and advanced Excel capabilities.
Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
High attention to detail, analytical mindset and confidence working with large data sets.
A proactive, organised and discreet professional who can work independently while partnering effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Someone who thrives in a busy, hands‑on environment and takes pride in delivering a reliable, accurate payroll service. What's in it for you?
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys owning a payroll process end‑to‑end and taking real pride in accuracy and compliance. The successful candidate will have autonomy, close support from Finance and HR, and the scope to refine systems, controls and reporting while ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time. CIPP training would be advantageous, adding technical rigour to the role, but a QBE professional with broad industry experience of managing payroll is equally encouraged to apply. Those who value precision, responsibility and continuous improvement are invited to submit a current CV or contact Emma Lewis on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion.
