CNC Turning Operator / Machinist
Location: Corsham Wiltshire
Hours: 39/week (Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm)
Overtime: Available
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK
About Us
The company has over 60 years of manufacturing experience. We operate 11 CNC lathes (Puma Lynx to Puma 700) and 2 CNC mill/turn machines, all using Fanuc controls. We are expanding and seeking a reliable, skilled CNC Machinist.
Key Responsibilities
*
Manufacture precision components to CAD drawings
*
Set, operate, and (ideally) program CNC lathes
*
Run multiple machines during peak periods
*
Inspect parts to maintain quality standards
*
Maintain tooling and program records
*
Suggest improvements to machining methods and programs
*
Follow health and safety procedures
Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience with CNC lathes
*
Apprentice trained (preferred)
*
CAD/CAM experience (advantageous)
