Monday to Friday

08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)

Our client is a well-established freight and logistics business based in Boughton Astley. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Office Junior to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role

Working as part of the Operations team, you will provide administrative support across the business, assisting with the day-to-day running of transport and logistics operations while developing your knowledge and skills within the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting the Operations department.
Updating the in-house operational system accordingly.
Delivery monitoring and follow-up as necessary.
Communicating effectively with customers and suppliers in a professional manner.
Checking shipment documentation and information.
Supporting other team members and departments as required.

Candidate Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Methodical with strong attention to detail.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
Ability to identify and put forward new ideas for improvements.
Strong team player.
Proactive and willing to be flexible in the work required.
Conscientious and open to suggestions and ideas.
Willingness to learn.
Awareness of ISO 9001 compliance.
