A welcoming and inclusive school in Watford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (2 days per week) for a fixed-term period of one year initially. The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of literature and language. You will support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills, while contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across relevant key stages 3 & 4

*

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

*

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

*

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

*

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

A strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature

*

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

*

A passion for teaching and inspiring young people

*

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

*

Previous teaching experience (desirable)
