Pipe Fabricator

We are seeking experienced Pipe Fabricators to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation working on complex, high-specification projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, installation, and maintenance of pipework systems and associated equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install small and large bore pipework systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
Carry out pipe preparation, bending, fitting, and installation activities.
Complete weld preparations and support assembly activities.
Install pipe supports, clips, flanges, and associated fittings.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with required standards.
Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain excellent housekeeping, safety, and quality standards at all times.

About You

Time-served Pipe Fabricator with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Able to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
Experienced in pipe fabrication, installation, and assembly techniques.
Familiar with working in highly regulated engineering, manufacturing, marine, defence, energy, or industrial environments.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
Able to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when required.

Proven experience in pipework fabrication and installation.
Knowledge of fabrication processes, pipe fitting techniques, and associated tooling.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
