Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and highly supportive specialist school in Milton Keynes, and we are looking to recruit a passionate SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Communication and Interaction difficulties, ADHD, PDA and complex learning needs. Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is committed to providing an individualised, nurturing and therapeutic approach to learning.

The school has a strong family ethos where positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively to remove barriers to learning, build confidence, promote independence and help every child reach their full potential. The Role

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment where pupils can thrive.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to support pupil progress.
Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development while promoting independence and resilience.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching pupils with SEND, or a strong desire to develop within specialist education.
A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach.
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
A commitment to helping every child achieve success, no matter their starting point.
