We are currently working with a specialist school in Bletchley to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher for a permanent position starting in September.
This opportunity would suit either an experienced SEN Teacher or a Primary-trained Teacher looking to transition into specialist education. The school supports pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs and associated behavioural challenges.
Working within a highly supportive environment, you will deliver engaging, personalised learning programmes designed to help every learner reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals
Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes and personalised targets
Support pupils' communication, independence and emotional development
Build strong relationships with families and key stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Primary, SEND or specialist settings
Understanding of autism and complex learning needs
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, creative and flexible approach
