The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. You'll play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Assist with the delivery of personalised learning programmes.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENDCo, and external professionals.
Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. We're Looking For
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
