Fire Risk Assessor
A forward-thinking, specialist fire consultancy is seeking a confident Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing fire safety team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor who is looking to work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use properties.
The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
The successful Fire Risk Assessor will carry out Type 1 and Type 3 fire risk assessments, producing clear, compliant and practical reports in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and current fire safety guidance.
The Fire Risk Assessor will liaise with clients, property managers and responsible persons, offering professional advice on fire safety compliance, remedial actions and ongoing risk management.
The role will suit a Fire Risk Assessor who is comfortable managing their own diary, travelling to sites and maintaining strong client relationships while being supported by an experienced technical team.
The Fire Risk Assessor
The ideal Fire Risk Assessor will have:
Experience completing fire risk assessments across residential and commercial buildings
A strong understanding of the Fire Safety Order and PAS 79
Membership with the IFE, IFSM or a similar professional body
NEBOSH Fire, FPA, Fire Safety Level 4 or equivalent qualification
Excellent report writing and communication skills
A full UK driving licenceIn Return?
£40,000 - £55,000
Car allowance or mileage paid
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Hybrid and flexible working
CPD support and professional membership fees paid
Clear progression into senior consultancy or technical management
