Manufacturing Process Engineer

Plymouth | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a global engineering business supplying some of the world's leading aerospace and defence organisations.

Unlike many process engineering roles, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of the manufacturing operation. The site is financially strong, backed by significant investment and an ongoing capital expenditure programme, giving you the opportunity to introduce new processes, improve efficiency and genuinely influence how the business develops.

The Role

Drive process improvements across manufacturing operations.

Lead continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.

Support production with technical problem solving and root cause analysis.

Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.

Help deliver new equipment, automation and process improvements.

About You

Experience in a Manufacturing or Process Engineering role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

A proactive engineer who enjoys improving processes and making a tangible impact.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business with the stability and investment of a global organisation, whilst offering the autonomy and influence more commonly found in a much smaller company. If you're looking for a role where your ideas will be supported, implemented and make a lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you
