About the Role

Complete Classroom Services is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Administrative Assistant to join one of our valued school partners in Southwark area

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled school administrator with strong attendance and admissions experience to play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, administrative staff, students, parents, and external agencies, ensuring efficient administrative processes and outstanding customer service.

The role requires previous experience working within a school environment and confidence using school management information systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain student attendance records, monitoring absence and lateness procedures.

* Support attendance reporting and liaise with parents, carers, and relevant agencies regarding attendance concerns.

* Coordinate admissions processes, including applications, enrolment, leavers, and student transfers.

* Maintain accurate pupil records and data in SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom.

* Provide administrative support to senior leaders and wider school staff.

* Assist with statutory returns, reporting requirements, and data management.

* Support reception and front-of-house duties when required, providing a professional and welcoming service.

* Ensure all records are maintained accurately and confidentially in line with GDPR requirements.

* Assist with school communications, events, and general office administration.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient administrative operations across the school.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience working in a school administration role.

* Strong experience managing attendance and/or admissions processes.

* Proficiency in SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom is essential.

* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.

* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

* A proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach.

The Successful Candidate Will

* Have proven experience in a senior school administration or attendance/admissions-focused role.

* Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills.

* Be confident using school management information systems, including SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom.

* Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and external agencies.

* Show a commitment to safeguarding, equality, and the values of the school.
