Senior Network Engineer
Location: Surrey - 2 days on-site
Type: Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic technology team responsible for the design, support, optimisation, and ongoing development of a complex enterprise network environment.
This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls and network infrastructure, supporting business-critical services across LAN, WAN, wireless, internet connectivity, remote access, and data centre environments. You will play a key role in maintaining network performance, availability, resilience, and security while contributing to infrastructure improvement projects and operational excellence.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and associated next-generation networking services.
Proven experience supporting and developing enterprise Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
Strong routing, switching, and network troubleshooting skills.
Experience managing enterprise LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, and wireless networking solutions.
Knowledge of Cisco Nexus switching environments.
Experience supporting network load balancing technologies.
Strong incident management and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience implementing and maintaining network standards, documentation, and operational procedures
