Senior Planner
Location: Havant, Hampshire
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Senior Planner to join a manufacturing business in Havant. This is an onsite position offering the opportunity to play a key role in production planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a collaborative Planning Team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, managing demand across production areas, and ensuring materials, capacity, and resource planning are aligned to meet customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing detail, pace, and stakeholder management while helping improve planning processes across the business.

The role

Create and maintain weekly production schedules across key manufacturing areas.
Monitor capacity and highlight any risks or constraints to operations.
Review order books, production progress, and stock levels to plan for upcoming demand.
Coordinate with procurement, operations, logistics, and sales to ensure production requirements are met.
Manage subcontractor demand and delivery schedules to support production plans.
Review late and upcoming orders and drive actions to protect customer ship dates.
Ensure the MRP system is accurate and up to date.
Support the development and improvement of production planning processes and systems.
Work proactively to reduce late lines and improve delivery performance.
The ideal candidate

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production planning, or scheduling role.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with MRP systems would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Able to prioritise workload and work under pressure to deadlines.
Confident working with multiple departments and stakeholders.
