ADAS & Diagnostic Technical Support Technician
Location: Milton Keynes, MK15 8HQ
Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, permanent
Storm Auto Services are dedicated to supporting the collision sector, helping repairers calibrate, program and repair ADAS safety systems and other complex electronic systems.
Our nationwide fleet of highly qualified automotive technicians, provide a wide range of advanced diagnostics and programming services.
We’re looking for an ADAS & Diagnostic Technical Support Technician to provide expert technical assistance for advanced driver assistance systems and vehicle diagnostics.
You will support technicians and workshops with troubleshooting, calibration guidance, and the effective use of diagnostic tools.
ADAS & Diagnostic Technical Support Technician – Responsibilities:
• Deliver remote technical support for ADAS calibration, fault-finding, and diagnostic procedures
• Assist customers with diagnostic software, equipment setup, and system programming
• Interpret fault codes, wiring diagrams, and technical data to diagnose issues
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to technical documentation
• Provide training and share best practices with customers and internal teams
Any other duties as and when required by senior company managers that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals.
What we need from you:
• Strong automotive diagnostic and electrical/ADAS knowledge
• Experience with OEM or aftermarket diagnostic tools
• Clear communication and strong customer support skills
• Problem solving ability and methodical troubleshooting approach
• Relevant automotive qualifications desirable (IMI, ASE, etc.)
Attributes:
• Calm under pressure, helpful, and detail focused
• Strong willingness to learn as vehicle technology evolves
• Professional, organised, and proactive approach
