In this role, you will:
Prepare accounting journals and reconciliations
Complete allocated balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis including investigation and resolution of any queries.
Prepare group reporting submissions including projections and market plan.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial information for internal and external reporting.
Generate and assist with various tax returns within the required deadlines.
Assist the Finance department with the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts.
Assist in the development and continual improvement of internal controls and best practice in the finance area, along with supporting digitalisation and data innovation.
Undertake ad-hoc analysis work as required.
About you:
Qualification: Fully qualified or nearing completion of ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Proactive and self-motivated: Able to take initiative, manage a high workload, and effectively prioritise tasks both independently and within a team setting.
Deadline-driven: Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight business deadlines without compromising quality.
Highly organised: Skilled at planning and organising tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
Attention to detail – operating with exceptional attention to detail in all you do.
Other requirements:
Knowledge of HFM – Hyperion Financial Management - Essential
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint – Essential
Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics – Cognos TM1
