The Role
You will be supporting pupils in Year 1 or Year 2 with Special Educational Needs who are able to access the curriculum with additional support. Alongside providing classroom support, you will also deliver Read Write Inc. phonics interventions, making previous experience with the programme highly desirable.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary school.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
• Knowledge or experience of Read Write Inc. Phonics is highly desirable.
• A patient, positive and proactive approach to supporting childrens learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
