Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary + £5,000 London Weighting Allowance
OTE: £50,000+
Hours: Monday-Friday, Days Only (40 Hours per Week)

Due to continued growth and investment, we are now seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their established engineering team throughout the Greater London region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with mechanical, electrical or electromechanical experience who is looking to develop new skills, receive specialist manufacturer training and build a long-term career within a growing and highly rewarding industry.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment across customer sites within approximately one hour of your home location.

Your responsibilities will include:

Attending customer sites to service, repair and install industrial cleaning equipment
Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical faults
Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
Working on petrol, diesel and LPG-powered engines
Using electrical diagnostics and fault-finding equipment
Completing service reports and updating job information accurately
Ordering replacement parts when required
Managing your workload efficiently to deliver excellent customer service
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company Health & Safety procedures
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering role
Strong fault-finding and repair skills
Experience working on engines, machinery or industrial equipment
Confidence using electrical and mechanical hand tools
Experience using diagnostic equipment would be advantageous
A background in industries such as plant, forklifts, HGV, automotive, agricultural, powered access or maintenance engineering would be highly beneficial
Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
