Mechanical Fitter

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to be part of an exciting multi-year project at a brand-new manufacturing facility in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

What will you be doing as a Mechanicle Fitter?
* Working on one of the largest MOD projects ever awarded
* Maintaining and repairing HGVs and heavy-duty military vehicles
* Diagnosing faults using technical manuals & diagnostic tools
* Implementing safety, quality, and compliance procedures
* Collaborating with a skilled team in a high-tech environment
What do you need?
* 5+ years’ experience as a Heavy Mechanical Fitter
* Mechanical Engineering Certification (City & Guilds / NVQ) - desirable
* Experience in vehicle assembly or maintenance (desirable)
* A military background (advantageous)
* Excellent problem-solving & teamwork skills
