Senior AI Engineer
Location: Spain/Portugal/Italy (Remote)
Salary: Up to €70,000 + package

We're working with a specialist Data & AI consultancy focused on delivering real-world AI solutions for enterprise clients across Europe.

This role sits between hands-on AI engineering and architecture. You'll be building solutions day-to-day, while contributing to design and architecture decisions, with the scope to grow further into that space.

It's ideal for someone already operating at a senior level who has started to get involved in architecture, and wants to build that experience further.

• Design and build end-to-end AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients
• Work across ML pipelines, data platforms, and cloud environments
• Contribute to solution design and AI architecture decisions
• Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
• Collaborate with clients and consulting teams on delivery
• Support and mentor more junior engineers (no formal leadership responsibility)

• 3-5 years' experience across Data Engineering, ML Engineering or AI
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML/GenAI solutions
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with tools such as Databricks and/or Snowflake
• Exposure to AI architecture - involvement in designing solutions, making technical decisions, or building scalable systems
• Comfortable in a delivery-focused, client-facing environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with LLMs, RAG or GenAI use cases
• Consulting or stakeholder-facing experience
