The client is a growing mechanical building services contractor delivering projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and residential sectors throughout the Midlands and the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their pre construction team.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive mechanical tenders from enquiry through to contract award, working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams to deliver commercially successful bids.
Key Responsibilities •
Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.
Attend tender meetings and support project handovers.
Build strong relationships with clients and the supply chain. Requirements
Proven experience estimating mechanical building services projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pipework and plantroom installations.
Experience pricing projects from £250k to £10m+.
Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
Full UK Driving Licence.
