Site Supervisor - Specialist SEN School - Newham
| Full Time | 36 hours per week | 52 weeks
Remedy Education are working with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Newham who are looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in site management, facilities, premises, maintenance or caretaking who takes pride in keeping a school site safe, secure and well maintained.
The school supports pupils with autism and complex needs, so they are looking for someone who is calm, professional, hands-on and happy to play an important role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The role will include:
Opening and closing the school site
General maintenance, repairs and site checks
Health & safety checks and compliance
Supporting with security, contractors and deliveries
Ensuring the school is clean, safe and well presented
Occasional evening or weekend work when requiredThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a school, site, facilities or maintenance role
Good practical maintenance skills
A proactive and reliable approach
Strong communication skills
A good understanding of health & safety
A willingness to support a busy SEN school environmentThis is a permanent role with excellent benefits, including pension scheme, wellbeing support, staff perks and cycle-to-work scheme.
An Enhanced DBS will be required for this position.
