Site Supervisor - Retail Park Project

22-Week Contract | Start Mid-July

I'm currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering a retail park project in Worcester.

This is a 22-week contract starting in mid-July, working on behalf of a nationally recognised retail brand.

The project includes a mix of demolition, cladding, groundworks and external works, and you'll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to programme.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project
Supervising trades, subcontractors and site labour
Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site
Managing barriers, exclusion zones and general site safety
Coordinating daily activities and monitoring progress
Liaising with subcontractors and the client team
Reporting progress, issues and updates to the Site Manager
Helping to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard

Requirements:

SSSTS (essential)
CSCS Card
Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction
Strong understanding of site health & safety
Good communication and organisational skillsWe're happy to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including civils, groundworks, fit-out, demolition or other construction trades. This role would particularly suit someone looking to step off the tools and move into site management, with the right attitude and a proactive approach.
