School Administrator (SIMS Experience Required) – September 2026
We are seeking an organised, professional and proactive School Administrator to join a welcoming and ambitious school in Kingston upon Thames from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator with strong knowledge of the SIMS Management Information System. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school's administrative functions while providing an efficient and friendly service to staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
The Role
You will:

Provide administrative support to the school's leadership team and wider staff.
*
Use the SIMS Management Information System to maintain accurate pupil records, attendance, admissions and student data.
*
Monitor and record daily attendance, following school procedures where required.
*
Welcome visitors and manage reception duties in a professional and courteous manner.
*
Respond to telephone and email enquiries from parents, staff and external agencies.
*
Produce letters, reports and other school documentation.
*
Maintain confidential records in line with GDPR and school policies.
*
Support school events, admissions processes and general office administration.
*
Carry out a range of administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the school office.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:

Previous experience working within a UK school administration environment.
*
Essential experience using the SIMS Management Information System.
*
Excellent administrative, organisational and data entry skills.
*
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
The ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and remain calm under pressure.
*
