Nursery Nurse Required – September 2026 A friendly and welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Nurse to join its Early Years team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development within a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work alongside the Nursery Teacher and EYFS team to provide a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of high-quality learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Foster children's social, emotional, and educational development through engaging and creative activities.
Contribute to planning, observations, assessments, and children's learning journeys.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Support children's personal care and wellbeing where required.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support the wider life of the school.The Successful Candidate Will Have
A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent recognised childcare qualification.
Previous experience working within a Primary School Nursery setting.
A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, patient, and nurturing approach.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Desirable
Experience supporting children with SEND.
Paediatric First Aid certification.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures within schools.What We Offer
