Site Manager – Major Healthcare Project
Central London | £60,000 - £70,000 + Package
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a landmark healthcare development in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project that will involve the construction of a highly complex new-build facility, working alongside an experienced senior management team on one of London's most prestigious live construction environments. The main scope will be to manage complex fit out phases over the next 18 months
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing sections of the project through construction, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
*
Managing subcontractors and day-to-day site activities
*
Driving programme and coordinating multiple trades
*
Maintaining exceptional Health & Safety standards
*
Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet specification
*
Managing short-term programmes and look-ahead planning
*
Coordinating with design, commercial and MEP teams
*
Chairing subcontractor meetings and toolbox talks
*
Producing site records, progress updates and reporting to senior management
About You
We're looking for someone with:
*
Previous experience as a Site Manager with a recognised main contractor within Healthcare environment
*
Experience delivering projects valued between £15m - £100m+
*
Healthcare, commercial, life sciences or other technically complex project experience is essential.
*
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and quality management
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Ability to manage multiple subcontract packages simultaneously
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
