A vibrant and welcoming nursery in Haslemere is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join their team. The nursery is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care, offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
The Role:
The Deputy Manager will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, leading a team of practitioners and ensuring that high standards of care and education are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supporting the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery operations.
· Leading and motivating staff, offering guidance and professional development.
· Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
· Overseeing planning and delivery of engaging educational activities.
· Building and maintaining strong parent and carer relationships.
· Assisting with staffing rotas, budgets, and administration.
Requirements:
· Level 3 qualification in childcare/early years education (minimum).
· Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting.
· Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· A genuine passion for delivering outstanding early years care and education.
