Night Shift Electrical Engineer – Chiswick
We're recruiting a Night Shift Electrical Engineer to join a well-established critical environment team based in Chiswick, West London. This is a permanent position on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 7pm–7am, offering a strong basic salary of £57,500 with on-site parking available.
The Role
As a Night Shift Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems within a single, prestigious commercial building. You'll work alongside a Shift Leader and be part of a small, experienced team of qualified engineers. The building operates within a critical environment, so you'll be expected to maintain the highest standards of compliance, documentation, and technical delivery throughout each shift.
Key duties include:
Planned and reactive maintenance to electrical systems (electrical bias, multi-skilled)
Maintenance and operation of critical systems including UPS, generators, chillers, STS, and AC cooling
Acting as or supporting the HVAP function on shift
Reading and adhering to Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and job task documentation
Supervising specialist sub-contractors where required
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety policies and statutory certification requirements

To be considered as a Night Shift Electrical Engineer, you'll need:
NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation – essential
18th Edition BS7671 – essential
Proven background in critical environments (UPS, generators, chillers, HV systems, AC cooling)
HVAP qualification (in date) – highly desirable
Multi-skilled capability with strong mechanical awarenessThe Package

Permanent, nights only – 4 on 4 off, 7pm–7am
