We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist engineering team operating within a high-profile, semi-critical facility in North London. This is a role for someone who enjoys technical challenges, takes pride in delivering high standards, and wants to work on infrastructure where attention to detail genuinely matters.
You'll become part of a team responsible for maintaining a diverse range of critical building services systems, ensuring operational continuity and supporting a facility where downtime simply isn't an option.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and associated building services systems.
* Diagnosing faults and delivering effective repairs to minimise disruption and maintain operational performance.
* Working on critical and semi-critical infrastructure, including LV electrical systems, UPS equipment, generators, switchgear and emergency systems.
* Supporting plant inspections, statutory compliance activities and operational checks.
* Managing permits to work, isolations and safe systems of work.
* Collaborating with specialist contractors and engineering colleagues to deliver maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining accurate records through CAFM systems and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
We're keen to speak with engineers who have:
* A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* Current 18th Edition certification.
* Experience working within critical, semi-critical or technically complex environments.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* A good understanding of health and safety procedures and permit systems
