Location: Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established building services contractor working across a varied portfolio of commercial contracts throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault finding across a wide range of commercial properties.
You'll work across a mixed portfolio including offices, schools, healthcare facilities, retail, industrial and other commercial buildings, ensuring gas and heating systems are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, burners and associated plant.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
* Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required.
* Work on pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, pipework and heating controls.
* Complete all service reports and compliance paperwork accurately.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current Gas Safe regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service while representing the business on client sites.
Requirements
* Valid Commercial Gas ACS qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1).
* Commercial gas maintenance and breakdown experience.
* Strong fault-finding skills.
* Experience working within commercial building services.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Good communication and customer-facing skills.
