Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing team covering a variety of commercial buildings across London.
This position leans more to project and planned works, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys installations, upgrades, and system improvements, alongside traditional maintenance duties. This is a busy role, plenty to do and a step away from the more traditional PPM building maintenance type role
Duties -
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance works on commercial gas systems
* Deliver project works, including plant upgrades, replacements, and installations (boilers, AHUs, heating systems, pipework, etc.)
* Undertake reactive maintenance and fault finding on commercial gas equipment when required
* Work on associated mechanical plant, including heating and hot water systems
* Support and contribute to refurbishment and improvement projects across buildings
* Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards
* Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
* Complete job reports, certificates, and documentation accurately
* Support junior engineers with the knowledge and growth
Requirements
* ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A)
* Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
* Strong experience in project works / installations / upgrades
* Good understanding of wider building services systems
* Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
