We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a leading organisation based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to advance their career within a reputable company that values technical expertise and dedication.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £39,729, with an achievable OTE of up to £45,729 depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent contract with operational hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.
Paid overtime for Saturday morning shifts on a 1 in 3 rota.
Quarterly bonus scheme, paid based on KPI achievement.
Supportive management team committed to employee development.
Opportunity for internal progression for committed technicians.
Working on a wide variety of vehicles including cars and light commercial vans.Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles, including cars and vans, across multiple makes and models.
Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently both independently and under supervision.
Repair vehicles to meet safety and road worthiness standards as a Vehicle Technician.
Work within a friendly and professional team environment.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all tasks as a Vehicle Technician.
Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rota basis, if required, with overtime paid accordingly.Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Repair or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of car and light commercial vehicle mechanics.
Ability to work independently and use initiative in diagnosing and repairing faults.
Good organisational skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
Reside within a reasonable distance of Basildon, Essex.
Experience working on multiple vehicle makes and models preferred.
