Hays Non‑Qualified Finance are recruiting for a Payroll Assistant.
You'll be joining a well‑established organisation in South Wales, playing a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You will work collaboratively across departments to maintain transparent, compliant and reliable payroll processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the monthly payroll is processed accurately and on schedule, including preparing, reviewing and updating all necessary data
* Calculating employee pay, deductions and statutory components such as SMP, SSP and pension contributions
* Maintaining accurate employee records, including handling starters, leavers, pay adjustments and payroll‑related queries
* Assisting with payroll reconciliations, reporting, audit requirements and month‑end activities
* Managing payroll documentation and data securely, ensuring compliance with data protection standards
Length of assignment: Temp - 3-6 Months
Hybrid policy: On-site initially
Ideal start date: Immediate
