Assembly Technician / Inspector (Electro-Mechanical)

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician / Inspector with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Day-to-day of the role:

Assembly Duties:

Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
Build electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies to a high standard.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment effectively.
Conduct functional testing of assembled units as required.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues.Inspection & Quality Duties:

Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assembled products.
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional checks to ensure quality compliance.
Identify defects, non-conformances, and faults, escalating where necessary.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
Support continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing processes.General Responsibilities:

Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Report faults, issues, or production concerns to management.
Assist in packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Proficient with hand tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
Experience in inspection or quality control is highly desirable.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Basic computer skills for recording production and inspection data
