Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established specialist secondary school in Hillingdon with the recruitment of a qualified Food Technology Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team, teaching Food Technology to students aged 11-19 within a specialist setting. The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and valuable life skills alongside their academic learning.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
Be passionate about developing students' practical cookery skills, nutrition knowledge and food safety awareness.
Be able to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire creativity and build confidence in the kitchen.
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, with a commitment to supporting young people with additional needs.In return, you will benefit from:
