Quality Inspector | Poole | Up to £15.00 per hour
If you take pride in getting it right first time, this is a role built around that instinct. A well-established precision engineering business in Poole is looking for a thorough and reliable Quality Inspector to maintain quality standards across a busy manufacturing facility. In-house training is provided, so the right attitude and an eye for detail matter more than a specific background.
As a Quality Inspector, you will benefit from:
Flexi-time scheme and a flexible working week
Enhanced sick pay
Life insurance
Free on-site parking
The opportunity to develop hands-on knowledge in a precision aerospace manufacturing setting
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting inspection operations throughout the KANBAN manufacturing facility, including goods-in, pre-process, and final inspection
Identifying and reporting non-conforming product and coordinating rework where required
Registering inspection transactions and booking in subcontract parts within the MRP system
Recording and reporting internal and supplier defects accurately
Supporting corrective actions and quality reviews to ensure preventative measures are effective
Ensuring the KANBAN process flow remains uninterrupted and delivery schedules are met
As a Quality Inspector, your experience will include:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering inspection or quality role (desirable, not essential)
Familiarity with MRP or similar production management systems (beneficial)
A methodical approach to documentation and defect recording
Ability to identify non-conformance and implement minor rework when required
Experience working to tight delivery schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
If you're looking for a role where accuracy and process matter, and where your attention to detail will make a real difference to the production flow, this could be an excellent fit. Apply today with an up-to-date CV or call Ben Glover at Rubicon for more information
