Location: Wednesbury
Salary: Up to £36,000
Full Time | Permanent | On-Site

We are recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Wednesbury.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing dispatch, route planning and logistics coordination, ensuring deliveries are organised efficiently and operational targets are achieved.

The role would suit someone from a transport, logistics, warehouse or manufacturing background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading from the front.

Key responsibilities:

Managing daily dispatch and transport operations
Planning delivery routes and schedules
Coordinating drivers and workloads
Leading and supporting the dispatch team
Monitoring KPIs, delivery performance and accuracy
Working closely with production and warehouse teams
Supporting continuous improvement across operations

Experience required:

Previous dispatch, transport or logistics experience
Route planning experience is essential
Experience leading or supervising a team
Strong organisational and communication skills
FLT and CPC preferred but not essential
Manufacturing or warehouse background advantageous
Good IT and administration skills
