About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW4) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Class Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to support young children at the very start of their learning journey within a nurturing and supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
Foster a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
Promote high standards of behaviour and learningAbout You We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Early Years / Reception (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Is creative, enthusiastic and committed to child-centred learning
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat We Offer
